Teach anatomy and physiology and acute causes of kidney failure to Critical Nurses, teach pre-pastoral students about chronic disease and how they can support the patient, teach home care nurses how to care for the end stage renal disease patient on hemodialysis. I also orient nurses to case management, am the liaison between case management and the dialysis units for education. Develop the education plans for each unit for the year and develop and maintain the competency-based orientation program.
